Cascadia is used to describe the bioregion of North America west of the Rocky Mountains from Alaska to California. These regions are closely linked via climate, environment and culture. But that’s not to suggest that the bioregion is homogeneous; rather, the area encompasses rain forests and deserts, oceans and lakes, grasslands and forests. To make navigation of the site easier, you’ll find our adventures organized by sub-region, with a brief description about what to expect in each of these unique areas.
